We are hiring a Senior HR Manager to lead and elevate the HR function in Nigeria, working closely with local leadership and supporting alignment with global standards from the UK and Canada offices.

Role Overview

This role is focused on building a strong HR foundation in Nigeria, leading all local people operations while collaborating with global stakeholders to ensure consistency, compliance, and culture alignment. You’ll be responsible for driving talent strategies, developing HR systems, and ensuring the HR function is an enabler of business success.

Key Responsibilities

● Lead the full HR lifecycle in Nigeria: recruitment, onboarding, performance management,
employee engagement, learning & development, and exit management
● Support and guide line managers and leadership on HR best practices
● Build a culture of excellence, inclusion, and innovation aligned with company values
● Implement scalable HR policies and processes tailored for a high-growth fintech environment
● Ensure compliance with all Nigerian labor laws and HR regulatory requirements
● Serve as a key bridge between Nigeria operations and international HR counterparts in the UK and Canada
● Optimize HR tools and leverage data for decision-making and reporting

What You’ll Bring

● 10+ years in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in fintech
● Strong experience managing HR for tech teams or digital businesses
● Solid understanding of Nigerian labor law and HR compliance standards
● Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies in a scaling organization
● HR certifications (CIPM, SPHRi, CIPD, etc.) at least one
● Excellent people, communication, and leadership skills
● Tech-savvy and comfortable working in agile, digital-first environments
